Tote and Tee

We made it through our first week of school.  April is in 4th grade(when did that happen??) and Abby started Kindergarten.  Both girls did excellent and they really like their teachers.

Here they are for their traditional 1st day of school pic.

I added a couple new items to my site this week, both just make me giddy! (one makes me say Giddyup! hehe) I just love this little guy and his dimples.  You can find the Giddyup Cowboy tee here.

Yes, it’s only July but it’s time to start thinking about Back to School attire. Can you believe in Arizona we start on August 4th!! Eek, my kids have one more week of summer. I can’t believe it went by so fast. My oldest is going to be in 4th grade and my baby…in kindergarten! I am sure a few tears will be shed this year. I am a total sap when it comes to this stuff.

I will miss my kiddos, but good news is I will have 7 hours each day to dedicate to this fabulous business and as soon as they get home I get to focus 100% on them. It will be nice for sure!

I love this one! The fabric is so fun and colorful and even has a hint of glitter in it. I am planning to make a bunch of other stuff with it too. Hopefully very soon!

I love to share my fun finds and I think you will like this one!

The site has not launched yet, but when it does it is going to be a toddler couture website. It will be launching mid July, and will cater to moms nationwide who are in search of high quality baby/kids products. It’s Monday after a long, wonderful holiday weekend and I am back at work!  Oh, and my baby turned 5 on Saturday! Eek, when did that happen?  I will share some pics from the big day after I get through my emails from the weekend:) Hope you had a great weekend!

Ok, never really did the tag thing before but I was tagged by 2 sweet ladies and figured what the heck!

Jenn of Take a Bow and Clara of Mimi Kattini are the guilty bloggers that tagged me! hehe  Took me awhile to get to this but I am always up for a little fun.

Here are the rules:

Ok, here we go….(gosh, already stumped but I will get through this…)

1. My 4 and 9 year old daughters are better at drawing than I am.  (4 year old brought me a picture of a chameleon on a rock yesterday…!)  I do a great square house with a triangle roof, square windows(just 2), rectangle door, tiny circle door knob.  If I am fancy, I do the chimney with a little smoke coming out.  I seriously lack talent in the drawing department.  (anything else crafty and I am all over it!
2. Before I was a SAHM and CEO of Tote and Tee(it’s fun to give myself a fancy title!), I spent 5 years working at a custom bra store.  Have a bra issue, I would fix it up and alter it to fit…while you wait! Whew, that was interesting!
3. Fun fact about Tote and Tee…in 2008, the biggest seller so far is this.  And I have made 90 and counting so far!
4. My girls and hubby have the same initials.  ART   (I am almost ART…ADT…If you substitute my maiden name with my middle name then I can be an ART too.)
5. I  sew all the tees myself at Tote and Tee, but my Granny is a major help.  She cuts ALL my letters.  Couldn’t do it without her! And what is extra sweet is when Granny’s big sister (87) comes to stay with us.  She gets right to work and calls it cutting paper dolls.  Love it!
6. My one addiction…DIET COKE.  Must drink DIET COKE.
7. I love to wear colors.  Red, Green, Pink, Orange, Aqua.  And if I happen to be only wearing a boring black tee or tank, I will pair it with some hot pink flip flops.

And well, most the blogs I peek at have already done this so I will end it here.  (that’s not bad luck is it?)

Ok, my biggest baby turns 9 today…really, when did that happen?  She is at school right now but so far she says it’s her best day ever. (gotta love when they say that!)  And to put a cherry on top, she even lost a tooth this morning!
